The Sandman
I had one goal in Hawaii besides get tan and it was to build a snowman out of sand, preferably with Jake inside with just his arms and face sticking out. Lets just say it ended up looking like Jabba The Hutt. So we ended up just making one down in the sand. If you didn't send us your address you missed out on the sandman, so here are some pics.

Sicky And Sandy - Day 4
Jake cought the flu and was throwing up all night. Luckily it only last 12 hours. So far 3 down and 6 of us left to catch it. The rest of us had a great day at the beach. My dad, Case and I went body surfing as the waves were big enough. Jake took it easy today and stayed in the shade and read. Poor guy. Hopefully the wave will still be big for him tomorrow. Here are a whole bunch of pictures.
We tried to recreate a cover a surfing magazine we saw.
Jake recovering.
Case ready go.
Me ready to go.

Boo For Rain - Day 3
It totally rained today. Totally sucky. But we still had a fun an relaxing day in Hawaii. I even read a whole book in one day. We went to a Flee Market and then to the town of Lahaina. It is an old historic town. We took this pictures in front of the cool banyan tree.
Here is a picture of the beach (my brothers and Baby Molly pictured) in front of our resort. Jealous yet?
P.S. Haven't got my sunglasses back yet, and Baby Molly and my brother got the 24 hour flu (violent puking) here in Hawaii.

I Hate Moving
So I was able to get out of moving most of our stuff. As long as I kept hiding in different spots and yelling "hold on a sec" I was good. Jake finally caught up to me and this is what happened.....
He put me in the truck and I was forced to go with them to unload the truck at the new place. But I was quite happy because I was more successful then I thought I was going to be.

I Am Obsessed.........
with these and it really is taking every bit of self-control I have not to go buy these $200 dollar boots. They are all I can think about at the moment. Maybe I should try and step outside myself and stop thinking all about me, but I can't when there are boots at Nordstroms like this. Ahhhh.

Do You Like Jake's New Truck?
Last weekend we took our bikes and drove north to Oak Harbor, which is right on the coast. Jake found a private Motocross track for us to go riding.

Once Upon a Forest's Twisted Tales
My very talented cousin Caitlin and I ran a singing, dancing, and acting camp this summer. It was 4 weeks, three days aweek, and we had 30 kids ages 4 to 10, but most of them were 4 and 5 year olds. Caitlin wrote a cute little musical titled "Once Upon a Forest's Twisted Tales." Pretty much Little Red Riding Hood meets Mr. Mick (the big bad wolf but she doesn't know it) on her way to grandma's house. Along the way they meet all these different fairytale characters; Three Little Pigs, The Ugly Duckling, The White Rabbit, Little Bo Peep, a King, Thumblelina, Teddy Bears, and some Glowworms. In the end we all find out that The Big Bad Wolf isn't really that bad. It was a crazy four weeks and a ton of work. More work then teaching a classroom of first graders. But in the end it was all worth it, as the show was a hit. It was so stinking cute it made me want to cry. The kids were hilarious. The little boys I nanny for were actually the hit of the show. Mason (5) was the White Rabbit and had a solo, and Rowan (2) was Joe Worm and stole the show. I am a proud Nanny! A big shout out goes to my Aunt Cheryl who did all the costumes (2 for every child) and my other Aunt Shauna who did all the set design and to my husband Jake, who built the bleachers the kids sat on from free wood off craigslist
