mt. si

today was a beautiful day in seattle. blue sky and sunshine. i suggested to jake we go on a hike. we decided to go on this little three mile one. but once we got to the hike, i talked jake into hiking mt. si which was a little further away. its a 4000 feet hike to the summit. i have never done it before and have wanted to forever. the mt. si hike is often used as training for mt. rainer. i had no idea how hard it was going to be. it totally kicked my butt. jake did pretty well (stupid jake, better than me at everything) but he still thought it was pretty tough. we weren't prepared for such a long and hard hike, because originally we were just doing a little baby hike. no water and no food. we were so hungry and thirsty on the way back down i almost cried.

it was really cold and windy at the top. we were cold.
