Ok so pretty much everyone in my immediate and extended family is in love with Jake. They all think he is the biggest stud ever (actually my brothers nicknamed him MacGyver, my mom worships the ground he walks on, and I can't leave a family function without an aunt, uncle, grandparent, or cousin stopping me and telling me how wonderful he is). This is really great except for that they all like him better then me. My family loves me, but Jake is by far the favorite. Don't get me wrong, I love that my family and friends LOVE Jake. It makes it really nice when your family loves the person you are married too, but come on - I want and am supposed to be the favorite! I think my grandpa sums it up when a few months ago he said.....
Aunt: "Jake is so wonderful"
Grandpa: "He's a 10"
Me: "What about me grandpa? Am I a 10?"
Grandpa: "Well, you're an 8 that thinks you're a 10"
Anyone have any good ideas on how I can sabotage Jake so that I can become the favorite out of the two of us? And don't tell me to get pregnant. It won't work. My family doesn't like fat people and the baby will become the new favorite.

The thing is that Jake is better than you. You married up. Laura is better than me. I married up. You just have to face that sometimes. And getting pregnant is a horrible idea. First of all, we need some allies in our no children adventure. And second, it would just give Jake a chance to show what a great father he is. Just throw your arms in the air and say oh well, I don't think you are going to win this one.
It is about damn time that you got a blog instead of stalking everyone elses. Actually, it's your creepiness that inspired me to start ours - thanks! P.S. I turned in my resignation letter yesterday. Sweet, sweet freedom. I think I may actually get a life!
You should wait for a big family gathering, then when the moment is right, yell something like "jake, something moved across my leg", then when everyone's attention is focused on you two, throw a fake snake in his lap. He' freak out and everyone will see what a big sissy he really is.
Or we could compile a list on how jake copies me in everything i do (including being tall and skinny) and then your family will like me more than jake, but they will like you more than me cause i'm still an outsider. Yeah, that might work
Rach, this is one of my favorite posts ever. Now that I think of it.... I think Jake is what made you and me such good friends! To be honest I think I remember trying to be friends with you just to get to Jake. I am just kidding I totally love you to pieces and you were right on the money with the baby thing although I wouldn't mind a little Hoerman or Hoerwoman running around.

Obviously every one likes jake, he is a hoer-man, he must be slutting it up... all the way to the top. I think we've all been used. He is a "nice-slut" and he is playing us all.
