So one of my biggest fears of married life is coming true......It all started when Rach asked her Mom for a "really nice bathrobe" for Christmas (which is just a waste of a Christmas present). Since both her parents wear their bathrobes at all times of the day, when they go down the street to get the mail or out to do yardwork, they thought it would be a great present. I protested like no other, but it didn't do any good. She swore that she would only wear it from the shower into her room and that would be it. Sure enough, I come downstairs the day after Christmas and look what I found - Rach in a bathrobe playing Xbox. Great. So now
Rachel has a nice ugly white robe that she can wear everywhere (and if you come visit us I'm sure you'll get to see it). Talk about a non-sexy, frumpy piece of clothing. Why couldn't they give her a bikini or something?

A Christmas Story

The In-law Golden Child
Aunt: "Jake is so wonderful"
Grandpa: "He's a 10"
Me: "What about me grandpa? Am I a 10?"
Grandpa: "Well, you're an 8 that thinks you're a 10"
Anyone have any good ideas on how I can sabotage Jake so that I can become the favorite out of the two of us? And don't tell me to get pregnant. It won't work. My family doesn't like fat people and the baby will become the new favorite.

Come Visit Us
This is to entice all you guys to make a trip and come visit us in Seattle. We have a cabin we go up to every weekend in the summer to wakeboard. So come and we will take you up with us. Summer needs to get here fast. Here are some videos and pictures from up at the cabin last summer. The first video is of Danny doing backflips. The second one is of me hitting the double up for the first time. Danny was teaching me and he kinda drops the camera when i hit it, but i do hit it but then i fall.

Into The Wild
Jake and I went on a 3 hour hike up Tiger Mountain today. It was 75 degrees in Seattle. First sunny and warm day of Spring here. Tiger Mountain is about 20 miles east of Seattle, but only like 10 minutes from where we live. Along the way we passed seattle lesbians wearing calf high wool socks sticking out of some major hiking boots with their REI cargo short and hairy legs, some unhappy wives/girlfriends, and a lot of asians. We ventured off the maintained trail and went on the Nooka trail. Nooka took us past some little waterfalls and brought us to fallen bolders which had made some pretty cool caves to explore. I went into one cave so Jake could get a picture. I was pretty sure a bear was going to snatch me up at any moment and was kinda freaking out. I was having a Beth Curtis moment. (love ya Beth) Nooka was definitly straight up and pretty steep but well worth it. Seriously there is nothing more beautiful than the Northwest on a sunny day!
